No morning run today.  I was sleeping well and justified myself  that extra rest was more important.

Noon run around the greenbelt on a very nice day.  Started out with jtshad and ran a 7:00 minute mile before he went ahead for some more serious speedwork.  Since 7 minutes/mile outside (vice a treadmill) has always been my definition of terminal velocity, I decided to hold on to the pace a while and see how long it would last.  Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad and I held on to run 10K in 43:28.   This is a significant improvement over my current 10K race time from last fall.  Makes me want to run another 10K just to see if it was a fluke.   Pace - 7:01   Temp - 44, light wind.

Serious kudos on a great tempo workout! This shows you have great shot at making your BQ time at Ogden. Awesome run!

Very nice run! Ready to break over into that sick world of the 6-something pacers. Don't forget that you were half frozen for the last 10k you did. Thawed muscles and a very aggressive training routine make a big difference. I have been tempted to try a tempo run at 10k distance...maybe this week. I want to hit Sunnyside during the week as well.
